Flasher spotted on two occasions near Boundary Road and Stroud Green in Newbury as police appeal for witnesses and cctv
A man has been spotted indecently exposing himself on two occasions in Newbury.
Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses following the reports and said officers believe it is the same man on both occasions.
The first incident took place on Saturday (July 13), shortly before 1pm, on Boundary Road, close to the intersection with Stroud Green.
A second incident was reported to have taken place at the same location yesterday (Monday), just two days later, at around 12.30pm.
Officers believe these offences were committed by the same individual.
The offender is described as a white man, around 5ft 8ins tall, stocky with short brown hair and facial hair.
At the time of the first incident, the suspect was wearing a dark grey T-shirt, light grey tracksuit bottoms and black sports trainers with white soles.
During the second incident, the man was reported as wearing a bright blue T-shirt and black trousers.
Investigating officer PC Sara Hamilton, based at Newbury Police Station, said: “There is no doubt that an incident like this will cause some concern amongst local residents, however we do not believe at this stage that there is any wider risk to the public.
“Our ask is for anyone in the area to report any suspicious behaviour immediately. We would also ask that local residents check any CCTV or video doorbells for footage that may have captured something that may support our investigation.
“Drivers traveling along Racecourse Road around the time of the incidents are also asked to check any dash-cam footage or get in touch if they witnessed anything.”
Anyone with information is asked to report it by calling 101 or via the Thames Valley Police website, quoting reference numbers 43240332760 and 43240336552.
