Residents warned to prepare for more flooding ahead of 18-hours of rainfall
The Met Office has forecast a mix of light and heavy rain showers continuously in West Berkshire until 6pm tomorrow (Tues), however no severe weather warnings have been issued for wind or rain.
It follows bright and sunny weather yesterday (Sun) which caused river levels to drop and some flood water to subside.
However, the accumulative affect of the heavy downpours forecast for the coming two days is expected to see river levels rise even further and cause more flooding.

These levels are not, however, expected to exceed those seen in recent days, with the River Kennet breaking record levels in Newbury and Theale on Saturday.
A number of roads remain closed in the district, including:
The A338 Newbury Road, Great Shefford, both ways between Church Street and Buckham Hill;
Burghfield Road, Burghfield, both ways between Southcote Lane and Berry's Lane;
Lower Way Thatcham, both ways between A4 London Road and Paynesdown Road;
High Street Compton, both ways at School Road;
