Local media reports have claimed that the chief executive of Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, Ed Donald, has resigned
THE Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust has refused to be drawn on claims that its chief executive, Edward Donald, has resigned.
Local media reports have claimed that Mr Donald, who was appointed as chief executive of the trust in April 2010, has resigned from his position following a reported vote of no confidence from the trust's board.
However, the trust has refused to confirm or deny the reports.
In a statement, the trust said today (Thursday): “Mr Edward Donald, chief executive of the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, is currently on annual leave.”
Mr Donald is also still listed as the chief executive on the trust's website.
