Reading Magistrates' Court: Restraining order for Newbury man who assaulted woman




A MAN has been issued with a restraining order after he was convicted of attacking a woman.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 25, was Kane Fraser-Berntsen.

The 25-year-old, of Newtown Road, Newbury, admitted assaulting Shannon Fuller by beating her in Newbury, on December 16 last year.

Mr Fraser-Berntsen was made subject to an 18-month conditional discharge.

In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £22.

Finally, the court imposed a restraining order on Mr Fraser-Berntsen.

The order, which lasts for 12 months, forbids him from contacting Ms Fuller, either directly or indirectly, or from going to a specific Newbury address.
