Retirement homes officially open in Thatcham ribbon cutting

Two retirement homes in Thatcham have been officially opened.

The ribbon was cut on Turner Place and William House on The Moors on February 9 (Thursday).

Mayor of Thatcham Jeff Brooks performed the cutting in the presence of home owners, guests and the McCarthy Stone team.

Guests then enjoyed a glass of fizz before lunch in the on-site bistro with many of the visitors then taking the opportunity to explore the two developments.

Mr Brooks said: “The official opening was a great event.

“I was made very welcome and was delighted to meet some of the home owners who have already moved into Turner Place and William House.

“I’m looking forward to seeing the developments continue to go from strength to strength.”
