Retro Festival offers a stroll, twist and jive down memory lane
The largest vintage festival in the South of England has returned to West Berkshire.
RetroFestival attracted large crowds to Newbury Showground over the weekend.
The festival is a celebration of wings, wheels, speed, steam, music and dance and that is exactly what it delivered.
The space was filled with live music, dancing, classic cars and so much more from Friday to Sunday.
Caravans filled the grounds with people setting up camp and getting ready for a weekend of fun and blasts from the past.
And of course they were all dressed to impress, donning iconic vintage prints, swing dresses and jewellery.
During the day, there were a range of vintage and retro stalls open from collections of unusual artefacts and vintage apparel to old movie posters, vinyl records and jewellery.
Artisan foodie pop-ups and crafty creators also got in on the action.
Attendees got their dancing shoes on for the Spitfire Tea Dance featuring swing dancers.
There was also a fashion show showcasing some of the finest vintage items.
Dancers also enjoyed the best of rock at the Black Hanger stage.
Lovers of music made sure to catch the Ricky Tick stage in the evenings with ska, 80s mod revival and a bit of Northern Soul.
Classic cars lined up along the green as visitors took a stroll down memory lane.
In addition to the vehicle and music, airbourne re-enactments were also enjoyed.
RetroFestival has raised thousands for various children’s charities over the years through donations and money raised through charity T-shirt sales, carabet tickets and show guide sales.
RetroFestival is gearing up for another year of vintage fun. Early bird bookings are already open.
