Revised rubbish collection dates

Waste collection for West Berkshire has been revised for the Easter period

WEST Berkshire Council has announced the collection times for their rubbish and recycling over the bank holiday period.

Collection will take place a day later than normal for two weeks from Monday, April 25.

Garbage will be collected on Friday, April 29, on Saturday, April 30 and on Saturday, May 7.

Services will return to normal on Monday, May 9.

West Berkshire Council's Waste Contract Manager, Jackie Ward, said: “We create so much packaging waste at this time of year from Easter eggs, please don't forget to recycle the cardboard packaging in your kerbside boxes.”

Any residents unsure about which day they should put out their waste are asked to check their collection calendar or visit www.westberks.gov.uk.

The revised dates are as follows:

Monday 25 April moved to Tuesday 26 April

Tuesday 26 April moved to Wednesday 27 April

Wednesday 27 April moved to Thursday 28 April

Thursday 28 April moved to Friday 29 April (Bank Holiday)

Friday 29 April moved to Saturday 30 April

Monday 2 May moved to Tuesday 3 May

Tuesday 3 May moved to Wednesday 4 May

Wednesday 4 May moved to Thursday 5 May

Thursday 5 May moved to Friday 6 May

Friday 6 May moved to Saturday 7 May
