Rita Ora to headline CarFest 2025 near Newbury on August 23
Rita Ora has been announced as the headliner for a summer music festival that takes place just outside Newbury.
The pop sensation – known for her chart-topping hits such as Your Song and Let You Love Me – will be performing at CarFest at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire this August Bank Holiday weekend.
She will be joined by other massive music acts such as Travis, Madness and Seasick Steve across the weekend from August 22 to 24, with her performance taking place on Saturday, August 23.
Rita Ora said: “I'm so excited to perform at CarFest, the UK's largest family fundraising festival.
“I love that it brings everyone together for an amazing cause. It’s all about music, having fun, and giving back.
“There’s something magical about performing live particularly at a festival with families and charity at its heart.
“I’m bringing my A-game to the main stage and together we're going to make this summer unforgettable.”
The pop star has earned numerous accolades, including an MTV Europe Music Award for best worldwide act and two BRIT Award nominations, and has been a judge on The Voice UK, America's Next Top Model and The Masked Singer UK.
Founded in 2012 by television presenter and radio DJ Chris Evans, CarFest is the UK’s largest family-fundraising festival, and it returns this year for its 23rd edition.
As well as numerous musical performances, CarFest also features automotive displays, several food and drink outlets and plenty of family entertainment.
Last year, the festival raised £1.26m for charity. In 2025 it will be supporting organisations such as BBC Children in Need, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust and Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.
