Planned road closure between Burghfield and Theale

A road between Theale and Burghfield will be closed on Friday (January 20).

Sheffield Bottom Swing Bridge, connecting Station Road and Hangar Road, will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm from New Mill to Lake View Cottage.

The closure is to allow Volker Highways to replace marker posts and re-paint bollards on behalf of West Berkshire Council.

The bridge was significantly damaged after a car crashed into the railing last July.
