Stoney Lane closed in Newbury

A road in Newbury is closed.

Stoney Lane is shut as work takes place and it will remain closed until June 11.

The closure will be between its junction with Pine Ridge and its junction with Stone Copse.

The diversion route is expected to be via Ashmore Green Road, Tull Way, Turnpike Road and vice versa.

The purpose of this closure is for S278 works, which is installation of service infrastructure, for new residential development.

One Network said Residential access will be maintained throughout, and the diversion will be signed on site.

Blue light access is permitted throughout these works.
