West Berkshire Council: Roadworks in Pangbourne during May

A number of Pangbourne roads will be closed, at various times, this month.

Bere Court Road will be closed from May 9 to May 12, between its junction with Pangbourne Hill and its junction with Green Lane.

The road will be closed to allow Thames Water to carry out repairs and maintenance work to its network.

Residential access will be maintained and there will be a signed diversion – via Pangbourne Hill, The A340 Tidmarsh Road and Tidmarsh Lane – on site.

Green Lane will then be shut from May 18 to May 20.

The closure will be in place between its junction with Courtlands Hill and its junction with the A340 Tidmarsh Road.

The road is being closed to allow Openreach contractors can replace an access cover and its frame.

Residential access will be maintained throughout and the diversion will be signed on site.

The alternative route in place is via Bere Court Road, Pangbourne Hill, Tidmarsh Road and vice versa.

Blue light access will be permitted through these later works.
