Police arrest suspect in B4009 vehicle collision in Hampstead Norreys which left elderly cyclist in serious condition




Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision.

Police have reported a collision involving silver Audi A3 and a cyclist that occurred on the B4009 at the junction of Wyld Court Hill and Yattendon Road in Hampstead Norreys at 6.25pm yesterday (Sunday).

The cyclist, a man in his 70s, was injured and remains in hospital in a serious condition.

A 39-year-old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, drink-driving and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

He remains in custody at this time.
