Road delays following Colthrop level crossing failure

At about 2.20pm, Network Rail received a call from the crossing keeper to say that the barriers had failed in the down position.
A spokesman said that this was causing disruption to road users as they had been unable to cross the railway line.
However, he added that the engineers were now on the scene trying to fix the fault.
