Road in Thatcham to close for highways improvements

A road in Thatcham will be closing for Highways improvements next week.

Harts Hill Road will be closed at some point from Monday, June 5, to Friday, June 9 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

The closure is from its junctions with Broad Lane and Floral Way.

It is to enable Volker Highways to carry out highway improvements on behalf of West Berkshire Council.

The work is envisaged to be completed in one day but the closure permit has been give for five days to allow for weather conditions.

Bucklebury Parish Council said the road closure will fall within its parish on Thursday, June 8.

The closure of this stretch of Harts Hill Road will also fall between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

But it said the start date and duration may vary.
