Thatcham road to close for carriageway retexturing




A road in Thatcham will be closed for carriageway retexturing next week.

Burys Bank Road will be shut from April 11 to April 12 between 9.30am and 3.30pm

The closure is from 1,530 metres east of the control tower roundabout to 610 metres west of the control tower roundabout.

The closure is to enable Volker Highways to carry out carriageway retexturing work on behalf of West Berkshire Council.

The work will be undertaken with a full road closure with no through traffic allowed.

During the works a signed diversion will be available.

Access will be available to emergency vehicles on a blue light call under site supervision.
