Thatcham road to close for ‘permanent carriageway repairs’ next week
A road in Thatcham will soon be closed for permanent carriageway repairs.
Crookham Hill will be shut between Pipers Way and Burys Bank Road from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Tuesday (June 17) and Wednesday (June 18).
Access to Thatcham Railway Station will be maintained via Station Road, West Berkshire Council’s contractor Volker Highways has said.
Motorists can travel via Brimpton Road instead to reach the A4 (Bath Road) and vice versa.It added residential and blue light (emergency vehicles) access will be maintained if possible.
