Severe delays on A34 northbound near Newbury due to road traffic collision

Traffic is at a standstill on the A34 near Newbury due to a road traffic collision.

1.35PM: UPDATE: The road has been cleared and all lanes have reopened.

Traffic is queueing between the M4 at Chieveley and the junction with the A4130.

The incident is expected to clear around 2pm

One lane is closed and there are currently delays of 40 minutes against expected traffic.

Highways England has reported six miles of queuing traffic.
