Newbury drug-driver Aleksander Rzadkowski is sentenced




A MOTORIST was caught behind the wheel after taking cocaine.

Aleksander Rzadkowski appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 15.

The 37-year-old, of Livingstone Road, Newbury, admitted driving an Audi A6 on Basingstoke Road in Reading on December 20 last year when the amount of the Class A-controlled drug in his system exceeded the specified limit.

Mr Rzadkowski, who represented himself at the hearing, was made subject to a 12-month community order and required to complete 100 hours unpaid community work.

In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £114..

Finally, Mr Rzadkowski was banned from driving for 17 months.
