Roads closed in West Berkshire and North Hampshire due to flooding

A number of roads in West Berkshire and North Hampshire are closed due to flooding.

The AA said the A4 Bath Road is closed in Midgham in both directions from Brimpton Road to Spire Ridge.

It is also closed in both directions from Gables Way to Colthrop Lane.

There are also delays and disruptions to the bus service in the district.

Newbury and District said there are delays on the PH1, CS1, CS3, CS4 because of the bad weather.

It said due to flooding, the A339 has been closed by police between Kingsclere and Basingstoke.

It said: “We expect this to cause significant delays to school services this morning.”
