Roadwork rescheduled in Burghfield

A road will be closed in Burghfield on May 2.

Unnamed Road from Hangar Road to Hose Hill will be closed between the hours of 8am and 5pm from its junctions with Hose Hill to the property known as 'Coach House'.

The closure was originally scheduled for yesterday (April 13), but did not take place due to due to poor weather.

The closure is to enable Volker Highways to carry out highway improvements on behalf of West Berkshire Council.

The work will be undertaken with a full road closure with no through traffic allowed. A signed diversion will be available on site.

Access will be available to emergency vehicles on a blue light call under site supervision.
