Roadworks rescheduled in Mortimer

A road will be closed in Stratfield Mortimer on May 3.

Burghfield Road will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30am from its junction with Victoria Road to Stratfield Mortimer Footpath 29.

The closure was originally scheduled for Monday (April 17), but this has been rescheduled due to poor weather forecasted.

The closure is to enable Volker Highways to carry out re-texturing work on behalf of West Berkshire Council as part of the highways improvement programme.

Resident access will be maintained throughout, but there may be a slight delay for those who live inside the closure.
