Robert Harris visit rescheduled

The date and time of the Kintbury author's visit to Newbury next week has changed

AUTHOR Robert Harris' planned visit to Newbury Library next week has been rescheduled.

The Kintbury-based novelist was due to be giving a presentation at the library next Wednesday evening at 7pm, however this will now take place the following evening on Thursday, October 27, at the same venue but at the slightly later time of 7.30pm.

Harris is set to deliver a 45-minute talk about his new thriller The Fear Index, which revolves around the competitive world of high finance. The book has already been accepted by Hollywood and Harris will write the screenplay himself.

After his talk at the library he will be available to answer questions and sign copies of his book.

Doors will open at 7.15pm. Entry to this event is by advance ticket only, available from Newbury Library.
