Roll up for Michaelmas Fair

The annual Michaelmas Fair comes to Newbury

THE annual Michaelmas Fair will be held at Goldwell Park, Newbury, from Wednesday, October 11, to Saturday, October 14.

Rides and stalls will roll up in the park for the fair, and there will be a firework display on the Friday night.

The fair dates back to the 17th century, when shepherds and maids turned up to look for work in the town, but is now a funfair.
