Rosebourne garden centre in Aldermaston wins silver medal in Taylor’s Bulbs autumn bulbland competition




The horticulture team at Rosebourne garden centre in Aldermaston have been recognised for their autumn bulb displays in a national competition.

The team were awarded a silver medal in Taylor’s Bulbs autumn bulbland competition, an annual competition run by the Lincolnshire-based bulb grower.

They were praised for a well-planned display that made it easy for customers to shop and browse.

Sam Digweed, assistant manager at Rosebourne, said: “It is great for the team to receive recognition for the effort that went into planning our autumn bulb displays.

“To be runner’s up in a national competition is a great accolade."

Taylor’s Bulbs also praised the team at Rosebourne for the display’s colourful signage and imagery, as well as its informative nature on key topics such as fragrance and lasagne planting.

Mr Digweed also said: “Bulbs are so versatile and a great way to add changing colour to your outdoor space and we are keen to spread the word and encourage more people to plant them.”
