Pangbourne Rotary Club has donated over £6,000 to deserving causes

A Rotary Club has donated thousands of pounds to deserving causes in the last three months.
Pangbourne Rotary Club has donated more than £6,000 to local and international causes.
Locally, £1,250 was donated to ReadiFood; £500 to Purley Sustainability Group for a community orchard; £250 to Tilehurst Craft Group; and £250 to the Christmas Toy Appeal.
But the club has contributed to international disaster relief as well.
Members have donated £2,000 to DisasterAid UK and Ireland, half the amount being match-funded by Jubilee Day Nursery.
The club has also donated £1,000 to the British Red Cross Appeal.
