Pangbourne Rotary Club boost to Tilehurst School

Pangbourne Rotary Club recently donated £500 to Brookfields School, a specialist SEN school in Tilehurst with nearly 250 pupils aged four to 18.
The school has used the donation to purchase a wide range of diverse books, as well as some sensory teaching aids.
Rotarians Mal Sandham and Brian Davies visited the school on Monday, February 27, the same week as World Book Day, to see how the pupils were enjoying and benefitting from the books in the library.
Pupils and staff thanked the club for its donation and Mr Sandham was pleased to inform them the school will be a beneficiary charity of its annual Dragon Boat races in Pangbourne on June 10.
