Visitors to Reading's Royal Berkshire Hospital are being asked to observe more stringent rules because of a rise in Covid cases.
The hospital has said on social media that due to the rising number of Covid patients they are restricting visitors to one per patient and that all visitors need to book in advance with the ward clerk.
Visitors will also need to complete a Lateral Flow Test before their visit.
Because of a record number of attendances to their Emergency Department., they have also asked that where possible people visit A&E on their own where they can in order 'to protect fellow patients'.
