Royal George and Alexander search for a new home
The cuddly twosome, who are bonded and must be homed together, were named after the royal baby because they arrived at the National Animal Welfare Trust at the same time as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s new arrival.
They were handed to the Trust’s Trindledown Farm rescue centre in Great Shefford after their owner became too ill to care for them.
A spokeswoman for the centre, Wendy Richmond, said: “They are both very easy to handle and enjoy having cuddles. George has a long coat so will need the sort of grooming fit for a future king. They are suitable to live with children.”
