Royals team to defend golfing title

A team of golfers from Reading Football Club will again take part in a charity golf day in Kingsclere in September
THE MANAGER of Reading FC, along with team coaches will be back to defend the title they won last year at a charity golf day at a Kingsclere golf club in September.
Reading FC boss, Brian McDermott, along with goalkeeping coach, Sal Bibbo, physiotherapist Luke Anthony and coach Nigel Gibb, will attempt to ward off opposition to the title at the Swings and Smiles golf day.
The package includes 18 holes, bacon rolls at 10am, a two-course carvery lunch, presentations and an auction.
The golf day will take place at Sandford Springs Golf Club on Wednesday, September 14, costing £260 for a team of four.
