RSPB want old mobile phones

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds are asking people in West Berkshire to donate their old mobile phones

ANYONE with an old mobile phone is being urged to donate it to help protect wildlife and possibly beat a world record in the process.

Until Sunday, February 13, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is asking people in West Berkshire to donate their old mobile phones in a bid to break the world record for the number of used mobiles donated in one week.

The RSPB and mobile telephone recycling company, Redeem, are hoping to collect more than 5,000 phones and raise more than £10,000 for the charity.
