Newbury Cancer Care chairman Dave Ormrod said: "Newbury Rugby Football Club have kindly given us an amazing platform of exposure by putting our charity logo on their shirt and various signage around the club grounds.

“They also have a brilliant club sponsor board on the front and back of their clubhouse which features QR codes and our logo is linked to our website where all interested parties can find our most important information.

“We will be fully embracing this opportunity to help raise awareness of Newbury Cancer Care at home matches and in the various charity events that happen at the club.

"We are very grateful to the Newbury Blues for their support.”

Newbury Rugby Club sponsorship manager Robin Varley said: “Newbury Rugby Football Club are very proud to be able support Newbury Cancer Care in raising their profile within West Berkshire.

“As a community rugby club, we have a long history of supporting and promoting good local causes and we will continue to help wherever we can.”
