Rush hour delays due to two accidents in Newbury and Cold Ash this morning (Thurs)

At approximately 7.10am, a van was involved in a single-vehicle incident on the B4009 Fishers Lane, Cold Ash.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police, Craig Evry, said that it was a damage only collision and that the driver had not been injured.
Around 30-minutes later, a woman suffered minor injuries after her mobility scooter and a lorry collided on the A339.
Motorists reported delays of around 15-minutes as the road was partially blocked due to the incident, which occurred close to the roundabout at Pinchington Lane on the A339.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police, Craig Evry, confirmed that police were called at 7.44am to a collision between a lorry and a mobility scooter.
"A woman on the scooter suffered very minor injuries," he said.
