Sailing club houses put up for sale

CEMEX Angling has decided to sell a pair of sailing club houses at Searles Farm Lane in Burghfield

ANGLING fans in search of a new spot to dangle their rods now have two more stretches to choose from after a pair of sailing club houses have been put up for sale in Burghfield.

On the market following the decision by CEMEX Angling to sell the premises at Searles Farm Lane, Burghfield, the two shacks have been unused for many years.

They come with the right to fish in the lake off the bank.

CEMEX has instructed local auctioneers and land agents Thimbleby and Shorland to handle the sale. A spokesman for the firm, Chris Boreham, said: “It could well suit other clubs such as Scouts or Guides too. One of the clubhouses is brick built, so a change of use might be a possibility.”

For more information, telephone Thimbleby and Shorland on 0118 9508611.
