Hungerford Rotary Club hosts Jubilee opera and picnic

A JUBILEE opera evening and picnic will be hosted by Hungerford Rotary Club this month.
The event will take place in The Croft Hall on Saturday, June 25.
The picnic meal will be enjoyed between musical performances and visitors are encouraged to bring tables, food and drink – and even a candelabra if the mood takes them.
Kennett Opera will be providing the entertainment with a variety of numbers from all the favourite operas.
A spokesman for the club, Llewelly Robins, said: "This is very much Glyndebourne-style and is bound to be a night to remember."

All moneys raised by this event will go to the club's chosen local and national charities.
