Scandi lifestyle store Sostrene Grene to open in Newbury's Parkway Shopping centre next month

A new shop will be opening up in Newbury next month.

The Danish lifestyle store Sostrene Grene will open its doors on November 25 in Parkway Shopping centre.

It will be situated in the former Topshop unit and its introduction to the town now means that all of the units in Middle Street are occupied.

The shop will sell a wide range of products from home interiors, toiletries, furniture, stationery, toys and candles.

Its website also offers lifestyle hints and tips including knitting and crocheting patterns, as well as inspiration for decorating and gardening.

Parkway Shopping has seen 17 new businesses open up in the past year.

During the same period a total of 65 new businesses have opened in Newbury town centre – 78 per cent of which are independents.

Elsewhere in town, however, Phase Eight closed its doors for the last time earlier this month.

The Mansion House Street store has already been emptied of stock and fixtures and fittings.
