Following a rigorous assessment process, which included meetings with pupils, early careers teachers and middle and senior leadership, the educational membership organisation commended the school’s consistency in teaching and learning practices.

It said whilst most staff are aligned with these practices, work continues with middle leaders to refine schemes of work and ensure consistent, high-quality teaching across the school.

In terms of enhancing pupil engagement, inspectors noted the school’s progress in addressing low-level disruption through innovative and inclusive teaching strategies.

Headteacher Grace Rigg said: “We are delighted to receive this accreditation, which reflects the hard work, collaboration and professional commitment of our entire teaching staff.

“This recognition is a testament to the positive, learning-focused culture we strive to embed every day at Kennet.”
