The Downs School, Compton hosts ‘speedy networking’ sessions with industry leaders for Year 9 pupils
A Compton school has held a Speedy Careers Day for Year 9 pupils.
The careers day, held at The Downs School, gave pupils the opportunity to engage with professionals from a diverse range of industries in a ‘speed networking’ format.
Head of careers Cate Wilson-Croombs said: “It’s always a pleasure to watch our students engage with the professional speakers in this fun, interactive event.
“A huge thank you goes to all the companies and individuals who generously gave their time to support and inspire our students.
“We hope it sparked inspiration in many of our students.”
Visiting speakers also praised the engagement and enthusiasm of pupils.
Many of these organisations regularly participate in the school’s careers events, and the school thanks them for their continued support.
