A school fete raised more than £1,500 earlier this month.

Bucklebury Primary School’s Summer Festival, this year Wild West themed, recently raised £1,559 for the school despite not raising its prices from last year.

Children took part in welly wanging, what’s in the box, hook a duck, cactus ring toss and minute to win it – and enjoyed bringing back their plant stall.

The Bucklebury School Choir and Dance Fusion also performed and the Deer Class also sang several songs.

They were still able to head out to pet the miniature shetland ponies and grab food from the BBQ and hot drinks.
