Theale Green School to start new breakfast service to improve pupil health and wellbeing
A school has said it is excited to announce a new breakfast service starting in September.
In a move to improve pupil health and wellbeing, Theale Green School is starting a breakfast service in the new academic year on Wednesday, September 6.
Aside from a great breakfast range to choose from, all students can receive free porridge to keep them on top form.
Speaking about the value the service will bring, head of school, Charlotte Badarello, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer our new breakfast service for all students from September onwards.
“As a school, we continue to place physical and mental wellbeing at the heart, and ensuring all students have breakfast and are ready for learning is crucial to this.”
She added: “We are very grateful to the support from Ellerton’s Charity, who have enabled us to purchase the start-up resources to ensure all students are well fed.”
The school canteen will be open from 8am to 8.25am every morning for breakfast.
Prices for other breakfast items will be on the school’s website from September.
