West Berkshire and North Hampshire schools closed due to snow
A number of West Berkshire and North Hampshire schools are closed today (March 8) due to the snow that continues to fall in areas throughout the south of England.
Secondary schools that are closed include The Hurst, The Willink and The Castle. Park House will be opening slightly later at 9.30am.
A number of primary schools in West Berkshire are closed, including Aldermaston, Brimpton, Enborne, Garland, Highwood Copse, Inkpen, Kintbury, Lambourn and Mortimer St Johns.
Other schools that are closed are Mortimer St Marys, Mrs Blands, Shaw-cum-Donnington, St John the Evangelist, St Nicolas, Sulhamstead and Ufton Nervet, The Willows and Woolhampton.
A number of schools are opening later at 9.30am, such as Beedon, Bucklebury and Spurcroft. Stockcross and Welford and Wickham will be opening at 10.30am.
North Hampshire schools that are closed include Kingsclere, Ecchinswell and Sydmonton, St Martin’s in East Woodhay, Woolton Hill and Burghclere.
Tadley Community Primary will open at 10am.\a
