Scouts parade in Thatcham

The annual St George's Day parade means several roads in and around the town centre will be closed today (Sunday)

SEVERAL roads in and around Thatcham town centre will be closed off to traffic today (Sunday) for the Scouts' annual St George's Day parade.

It starts at 2.30pm at Waitrose, The Moors, and will end with a service at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.

The Moors, from Bath Road to Station Road, High Street, the Broadway and Bath Road, will reopen at about 3pm.
