Second arrest in connection with Englefield airfield incident





Thames Valley Police CID have this week confirmed the second arrest, after the three aircraft were vandalised at an airfield in Bostock Lane, Englefield, Reading, on land owned by the Englefield Estate.
Police were called to the airfield on Oct 8, after the damaged aircraft were discovered.
A vehicle was discovered set alight nearby in Bath Road, A4, Theale, and police were investigating if this was used in this incident.
A 29-year-old man was initially arrested in connection with this incident.
TVP confirmed a 30-year-old man had since also been arrested, on suspicion of criminal damage, theft and vehicle interference and was being held in custody.
