Drivers travelling westbound on the M4 are advised to follow the hollow square diversion signs which will take them off the motorway at J11 to join the A33, before getting on the A4 and re-joining the M4 at J12.

Eastbound drivers should follow the hollow circle diversion signs and follow the above route in reverse.

Highways England are stating that the M4 eastbound should return to normal between 12.30pm and 12.45pm, and westbound between 4pm and 4.15pm.
