Andover Road in Newbury closed after serious traffic incident

A Newbury road is currently closed after a serious traffic incident.

Andover Road is shut from its junction with Buckingham Road up to the mini roundabouts at Monks Lane.

Police cordons are in place and fire engines, ambulances and the air ambulance are all in attendance.

Cars are currently being diverted along Monks Lane.

It is not known how long the road is likely to be closed for.
