Thames Valley Police appeal for information on multiple Market Place bike thefts




Police are appealing for information after several bikes were stolen from Market Place.

An offender or offenders stole a black and red bicycle in Market Place between 1pm on Friday and 3.15pm on Saturday.

Those who have information about the theft should contact the Police Enquiry Centre on 101, quoting reference number 43220475690.

A green Carrera Hellcat bicycle was stolen between noon and 4pm on Saturday.

Those with information should contact 101, quoting 43220479586.

Also on Saturday, a green Carrera Hustler bicycle was stolen between 2pm and 3.30pm.

Those with information should contact 101, quoting 43220478825.

All three bikes were left secure in the town centre.

Newbury has been the target for a number of bike thefts over the past month, with more than nine being reported since September 20.

Most of the bikes were left secure in these previous incidents and it is not known whether any of these thefts are connected incidents.
