Severe delays on A34 after accident closes southbound lanes at Chieveley

The incident occurred at around 6.20am, however at 8.50am the road remained closed at junction 13 (Chieveley), although was due to open “imminently”.
The accident, which involved a black Vauxhall Zafira and a lorry, blocked the entire southbound carriageway.
Congestion stemmed passed the Beedon junction.
One person was taken to the North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke, with minor injuries.
The vehicles were in the process of being recovered at 8.15am.
