Services delayed by up to 120 minutes and in some instances cancelled after person hit by train
THERE are severe delays of up to 120 minutes on South West Trains services from Waterloo this evening after a person was hit by a train in the London area earlier today.
Commuters traveling from Waterloo are advised to travel on an alternative train to Basingstoke with those holding a South West Trains ticket able to use Great Western Railway services, Cross Country Services, Southern Services, London Buses and London Underground services via any reasonable route.
South West Trains say that due to emergency services dealing with the incident between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction fewer trains are able to run on all lines.
Rail replacement buses are being used in addition to late running trains to convey passengers at some areas across the network
Passengers are advised to seek further assistance from member of staff or press the help points if needed.
