Severe weather warning for south east up to/including Christmas Eve

The Met Office has issued an amber warning for the south east for 48 hours from Monday morning, with travel likely to be disrupted, due to heavy rainfall and strong winds.
A spell of heavy rainfall will affect parts of southern England and south Wales during Monday.
This will fall onto saturated ground and lead to a risk of some flooding.
Gale, to severe gale force winds with potential for very strong gusts across coastal areas are predicted.
The public should be prepared for the likelihood of some significant disruption due to the combined hazards of heavy rainfall and high winds.
The rainfall should clear southeast England on Tuesday morning/Christmas Eve, with the winds moderating from the west.
The weather on Christmas Day and Boxing Day will be bright, crisp and sunny, according to the Met Office.
