Sex offender from Speen, Yusuf Erahdun, broke order designed to protect children from him
A SEX offender contacted a child four times - in breach of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) designed to protect them.
Yusuf Erahdun appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 19.
The 34-year-old, of Sutton Road, Speen, admitted four charges of communicating with a girl under the age of 16, which he was prohibited from doing by a SHPO made under section 103A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 by Reading Crown Court on October 14, 2019.
All the offences were committed in Newbury on various dates in August and September this year.
Erahdun, who was legally represented by Simon Hammudi, was told the matters were being sent to be dealt with by a judge sitting at Reading Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
District judge Samuel Goozee meanwhile released Erahdun on bail with conditions stipulating he must live and sleep each night at his home address, must not have access to, or be in possession of, any internet enabled device except a device in a public library or at work, and not to be in possession of any mobile phone unless the device is approved by his public protection officer.
