Shaw car fire suspected arson

According to Jim Fernie, crew manager of White Watch at Newbury Fire Station, one pump from Newbury was called at 10.40pm to Church Road, where a Ford S Max was on fire.
Firefighters used a hosereel and breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze, before leaving the scene after 20 minutes.
Thames Valley Police spokesman, Craig Evry, said police attended the incident at 11.04pm abd which was being treated as suspected arson:
"It was a stolen vehicle taken from The Hollands, Thatcham yesterday (Wednesday)," said Mr Evry.
